Using public Note Blocks in short sessions is free. The length of short sessions may vary from day to day. Free short sessions use elapsed clock time, not saved minutes.
When a free short session ends, you may use Back to Home Page from the upgrade page and choose the book again. This starts the renewal path for another short session, but it does not take you straight back to the exact page you were using.
To get to the public study pages, start here. Note Blocks are the bullet-based study pages. Open a curriculum, choose a subject, choose a book and chapter, then choose the Note Blocks study option when it is available.
Free timed sessions: You may read the bullets, move through blocks with Prev and Next, jump to a block number with Go, and use the recall buttons: Hide Bold Terms, Hide Every Word, Hide Main, Show One, Show All, and Reset. Use Report if something on a note block needs attention.
Paid Note Blocks access: Paid access for the book removes the short-session limit for that book and turns on private account tools, including Studied, Study More, Hide, Show Hidden, Review Later, Due Reviews, Favorite Block, private notes, daily goals, study progress, and saved stopping points.
Luminaries: Paid members who are also in the LUMINARIES group can request added explanatory bullets. Click Request Bullet beside the bullet, select the word or phrase that needs explanation, click Prepare to Send, add any helpful context, and submit the request for admin review.
For flashcards, you may enter the range of numbers you’d like to study.
While the ability to shuffle cards exists, and you may shuffle them if you wish, I recommend studying them in the order in which they are presented.
When messaging about specific flashcards, please use the text box at the bottom of the page in question and include the card number.
To submit YouTube videos in which you teach a medical concept in less than 60 seconds, use this page. Follow the guidelines below.
It must be less than 60 seconds long.
It must get straight to the point. Teach what you intend to teach from the first second. Don't waste time by advertising yourself.
It must NOT have any background music. Too many people suck donkeys when it comes to balancing dialogue with background music.
Horizontal/landscape videos are preferred.
Do not speak as if everything you are saying is a question when it isn't.
